Trauma Wise Therapy Projects

our passion, your gain

We spent much of 2020 and 2021 on a clinical quest. Our pandemic project, to find effective ways to work with high-trauma couples, resulted in knowledge and experience that increased our competency as couple therapists. We compiled what we learned and created several training projects to share the information with other therapists.

In 2022 we rolled out a short-term training and consultation group focused on working with high-trauma couples. We're currently fine-tuning that material to offer it again in the future. You can find more information about that project here.

Beginning in April 2023, Margaret will offer a monthly online seminar on blending Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) and a Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT). This three-month seminar will explore integrating theory, techniques, and therapeutic stance from both models for potent and efficient work with couples. You can learn more about this training and find out how to sign up here.
